Zinfandel
Zinfandel is a variety of red grape planted in over 10 percent of
California vineyards. Zinfandel first came to California in the early 1800. Research has shown that the Zinfandel grape originated in Croatia, and then made famous in the early days of Italy and the Roman Empire. Zinfandel is a spicy, peppery wine, with a hint of fruity flavor - berries or dark cherries are often the taste range.
