Grenache
Italy is one of the world's biggest producers of wine at nearly six billion liters a year. Grapes are grown in almost every region of the country, and more than 1 million vineyards are under cultivation. Some of the most well know regions are Tuscany, for its Chianti and Brunello, and Piedmont, for its Barbaresco and Barolo. Sicily is an up-and-coming region producing wines with concentration, ripeness and body.
